The Meaning Behind the Name

Arbia (Are-Bee-Ahh) Pizza is named in honor of Arianna’s Great Grandma and Grandpa Arbia.

Carrying on their Italian heritage through something they loved so deeply—food—is a true honor. Their family name lives on through every pizza, recipe, and shared meal, connecting generations through the simple joy of good food.

For Arianna and Jimmy, Arbia Pizza is more than a business. It’s a way to celebrate family, honor their Italian roots, and keep a beloved family legacy alive—one delicious pizza at a time.

Our Story

Owners Arianna and Jimmy Carroll met in culinary school 25 years ago, where they discovered a shared passion for great food and a love for the culinary arts.

After moving from California to Whidbey Island, Washington, their dream of starting a business together became a reality. They began with a humble trailer and built their own wood-fired oven inside, laying the foundation for what would become Arbia Pizza.

As the business grew, so did Arianna’s opportunity to let her creativity shine. With an exceptional palate and a passion for creating something truly unique, she developed one-of-a-kind pizzas, dressings, and sauces that give Arbia its distinctive flavor and set it apart from the rest.

Jimmy brings more than 25 years of food-service experience to the business, having worked his way through nearly every role in the industry—from busser and server to manager and chef. His experience and knowledge allow him to create an efficient, welcoming experience while ensuring the highest quality of service every time.

Today, Arbia Pizza has grown into its main home—the Airstream—while staying true to the same love, creativity, and dedication that started it all.

For more than 10 years, Arianna and Jimmy have poured their hearts and souls into Arbia Pizza. What began as a dream has grown into a true labor of love, built around handcrafted food, creativity, and bringing people together.

Together, they make the perfect team—and every pizza that comes out of the Arbia Airstream is made with love.
